The Ben Fund helped me when John was no longer around.
Norma's husband, John, tragically died after suffering from a brain tumour. Deeply traumatised, Norma struggled to get on with life and soon found it hard to make ends meet.
We were able to help by providing housing and financial support.

The Ben Fund became one of my angels
Chris had been an ICE member since the mid 1990s and put together his own video about how the Ben Fund supported him and his family when he was diagnosed with gastric cancer. He had to stop work and household finances were put under considerable strain. A fellow ICE member recommended the Ben Fund to him. He describes the ICE Ben Fund as one of the angels that helped the family.
Unfortunately, Chris lost his battle with cancer but the Ben Fund continues to be there to support the family with whatever they need.

When Stuart was diagnosed with Atypical Ewing Sarcoma, he turned to the Ben Fund for help
Stuart has always been a very active person, enjoying football, golf, cycling and going to the gym. Following surgery on his knee to repair a torn ligament, a persistent back pain got much worse and investigations unfortunately led to a diagnosis of Atypical Ewing Sarcoma, a rare form of bone or soft tissue cancer.
The condition meant that Stuart would face several stays in hospital for scans, biopsies,
surgery, chemotherapy, radiotherapy and physiotherapy.
