New service launch

Available to all ICE members and their families
DUK Small

For Time To Talk Day 2024, we’re proud to announce that the ICE Benevolent Fund now partners with Dementia UK!

The new partnership with Dementia UK allows ICE members and their families all over the world the opportunity to book appointments (via phone, or Microsoft Teams) to speak with Admiral nurses on a fast-track basis.

Admiral nurses are qualified, registered nurses who have specialised in dementia care. Anyone touched by dementia can access an appointment. This includes:

  • Those who are waiting for a diagnosis
  • Those who have a diagnosis
  • Those with early-onset dementia
  • Those who support, care for, or live with someone who has, or is awaiting, a diagnosis

If you're an ICE member with a partner/spouse, parent or child affected by dementia, they can access support too.

This new provision will be supported by a masterclass in May where delegates will learn more about dementia and the support available to them; questions can be asked directly to an Admiral nurse during the session.

Dementia can be a tricky subject to talk about, but we know that it affects a lot of families. We also know that if you love someone living with dementia, you're living with it too.

This Time To Talk Day, join us as we embrace the opportunity to talk about the difficult things in life in a safe and knowledgeable environment.

If this is something that affects you or your family, get in touch. Let's see what we can do for you, together.
